International Customers

The “GroovArts” store is based in France, within the European Union.
Free trade agreements in Europe eliminate customs duties on most goods traded between partner countries. Therefore, European buyers are not subject to import taxes in their respective countries.
The same applies to French buyers residing in the DROM (Overseas Departments and Regions) or COM (Overseas Collectivities).
Outside the European Community, most countries charge customs fees and/or import taxes, which is the case in the United States of America (USA), among others.
By using the e-commerce platform “Shopify”, the GroovArts store allows US buyers to pay these taxes when placing an order.
The “Shopify” platform collects these taxes or customs duties and then pays them to the states, counties or municipalities concerned.
This avoids paying surcharges upon arrival of the goods and also helps speed up the customs clearance process.
In summary, the GroovArts store manages the French DROM and COM, the countries of the European Union and the United States of America (USA).
But what about other countries?

The site "groovarts.com" does not manage the collection and payment of taxes or customs duties for the countries detailed above (Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, India, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Norway, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Singapore, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey).
However, a purchasing solution exists for residents of these countries by accessing the GroovArts store on Etsy, at the following address: https://groovarts.etsy.com.
Etsy is a globally recognized marketplace for its exceptional selection of handmade crafts.
This platform has perfect control over the collection of import taxes and/or customs taxes applicable in the countries concerned and then transfers them to the tax authorities.
Only partner countries of the French Post whose transport allows international door-to-door tracking are selected.
